The Wrap is exclusively reporting that Iggy Azalea’s upcoming tour, “The Great Escape Tour”, is in jeopardy of being scrapped as Azalea has become increasingly unresponsive to her management and is refusing to engage in promotion.
The USA Today also reported that Azalea recently fleeing from social media could have a significant negative impact over her brand, and as her social accounts have been passed on to her management, the Australian rapper has become disengaged with her own team.
R&B singer Tinashe, scheduled to be the opening act for Iggy along with former Jonas Brothers band member Nick Jonas, is also rumored to have left the tour.
Reps for Iggy Azalea, Tinashe and AEG Live (the tour promoter) have refused to speak on the matter with the multiple media outlets that had reached out to them.
“The Great Escape Tour” is expected to kick off in about a month (April 14th) in Fresno, California. And as of right now, it has dates scheduled in 23 cities in The United States and one in Toronto, Canada.
