Iggy Azalea is the top nominee for The 2014 American Music Awards scoring a total of six nominations including Artist of The Year, Best New Artist and Song of The Year. She’s closely followed by Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams each with five nominations and Lorde with four.

For the first time, The AMAs committee has decided to nominate a total of 10 artists to the “Artist of The Year” category. Up to today, this category had a total of five nominees only.

The 42 annual American Music Awards will be broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. on Sunday, November 23rd on ABC.
